I am thinking about creating a hackBook for uni which can dualboot windows 10 or 11 alongside MacOS, because I don't know what programs we will be using, so I have to rely on Windows as a backup if I can't use MacOS.
What would you suggest for this purpose?
I will use it for:
editing photos/videos (mainly in 1080p)
Doing programming stuff (mainly web development)
Basic browsing/audio playback
I would preffer as much battery life as possible. My current laptop is lucky if it can pull off 3 hours without a charger, so I would like something more efficient in the future😅 Plus it is like 3,5 kg. A good old Dell Latitude E6430, a monster from 2012
Why I choose this over a Macbook?
Well, Windows, plus an M1 is like 1400 usd still here in Hungary...
