Hi.
I'd like to run 10.13 using my Ryzen 1700 on B450 (doable AFAICT, with the known shortcomings, such as AppleHV and thus VMware and friends not working) with an ASUS "AREZ" RX 560 2GB model GPU (a little concerned about this one). The concern on the GPU is that in the Dortania docs, it mentions Polaris 20 support, not 21, which is the RX 560 chip, and also the Dortania-referenced checklist only lists 4GB 560s, not 2GB ones, so I fear this particular model might not be Polaris in the first place, but a previous unsupported version that was rebranded. Any thoughts on that? The original ASUS docs are lacking to say the least.
I'm also hoping to first make a working 10.11 installation, since that one is the last one without SIP, and thus the last one which I can install the cracked version of Adobe CS6 on. I'd then like to upgrade to 10.13, keeping my CS6 installation.
The last time I installed a hackintosh was on an i7 920 rig with some GPU I don't remember anymore, and it worked really well.
Any obvious problems jump to mind here? Particularly wondering about the GPU and the CS6-inflicted upgrade plan. I'm doubly worried that upgrading a hackintosh might mess with the hardware as presented to the OS, since that is how the CS6 copy protection works.
Thank you :)
