Hp z230

So I have a HP z230 intel core I7 4th Gen and 16gb of ddr3 ram however I have the hackintosh on my usb but I’m scared because I saw someone here say that they bricked their hp computer because of open core writing it’s log onto the bios and overwriting it and they couldn’t get it back should i boot it or if it tries to write a log would it overwrite my bios like it did for the other guy
