Having questions about upgrading my MacBook pro late 2011

I've watched Mr McIntosh videos and was going to upgrade the pro to Ventura

When I went to the legacy patcher site, they said that it's only recommended for 2012+ Mac's

Did I miss the boat? I watched a video posted 3 months ago about how 2007 and up could be upgraded but now on there site it says only 2012 and up should be upgraded

Am I misunderstanding it or is there no more upgrade possible for 2011 and below Mac's

Any help would be greatly appreciated
