So long story short, I bought a MacBook Pro 13" 2020 (i5 model) back in February off the second hand market without knowing that it was actually iCloud locked. A few months in, I got a message from the seller telling men not to update to the latest macOS version (that being 13.3 at that time), as it would result in the laptop going back to its iCloud locked state. Now that it's almost the end of the year, I'm feeling more and more anxious regariding this version I'm on (13.2.1) as it is getting older and older. My question basically is if there is any way of updating to Sonoma 14.1.1 somehow without updating iBridge, so as to not brick my laptop. I myself don't really think it's possible, and I know what OCLP is meant for, but I figured simply asking wont hurt no one in the end. I'm sorry if this post violates any rules (I couldn't find the rules, except for the "no hackintosh posts allowed"), and it it does, feel free to remove the post. Thank you guys and have a nice evening!
