So, Ive been using a previously owned Late 2013 iMac for 3 years now with no problems. It was running Ventura via OCLP just fine but I thought I would go ahead and upgrade to Sonoma. As a few others are finding out, Sonoma seems to trigger the MDM check (or it it the clean install?). When I saw this in the install wizard I noped right out of there and reverted to my previous Ventura install.
Now back in Ventura I see "No profiles installed" under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Profiles, nor do I get a nag anywhere to accept an MDM.
Can I consider this iMac clean enough for personal use? The company listed in the MDM does not exist anymore and I have no means of contacting the previous owner.
I can happily chill on Ventura for now but I wanted to hear from you guys if I should consider this iMac now compromised.
