Working Hack requires a mouse to boot !

Ok so this might be really silly but my hack really requires a mouse to be connected at start to boot. The reason behind this remains unknown to me. I have tried fiddling around with the usb mapping but didn't help.

So far I have gained this much knowledge about this problem:

1.The Boot works with a first pressing the space bar and then the mouse when waking up from shutdown mode

2.The same combo doesn't work when restarting. While restarting the behaviour is very random, sometimes it take tree tries(several restarts) for mouse to glow up so I can do the usual space bar + mouse move trick and sometimes after restart only space does the job.

Also currently the mouse is connected to a c port and the problem also exists when connected directly to an USB type A port.
