Trying to decide on building hackintosh (2-3 years left) or paying Apple tax

Everyone says we’ve got a few more years of support left. Everything from bare metal to virtualisation will no longer be available.

Do I spend $4,000 on a new build now knowing a mac VM or virtualisation only has a few more years or spend $2,000 on a pc and 2,000 on a mac and just suck it up ?

Ideally I wanted everything in one machine. I don’t use Mac for work just for play.
