[noob] I keep screwing up, please help! (Long-post)

Hi all, excuse the post with dual issues, I also didnt know about any of this till a few days ago so please excuse the dumb mistakes.

—- INSTALLING A NEW OS ON OUTDATED IMAC- issue 1:

Im on a imac 15,1 (27 inch 5k). Native os was big sur 11.4.

I was tired of terrible performance with adobe programs and blender, so I bought an Akito node titan with an AMD RX 6900xt card.

I didnt know anything about opencore, and just installed kryptonite without it using the partition method on the internal drive. Restarted, booted my drive, the egpu fully connected, it was a success.

But.. I realized my os was too old for blender. So i decided to wipe the OS and install monterray (unsupported on my mac) using opencore.

Monterray installed perfectly the first time. No issues. EGPUs were not enabled though, so: ————

Enter ISSUE 2: I try to install Kryptonite again, and screw up

I checked blender and realized gpus still werent enabled, but the internal imac gpu was. so I attempted to use kryptonite to find my volume with opencore to the epi as the github mentioned.

I tried the kryptonite boot again and it didnt work. It wouldnt let me boot from the kryptonite drive/had the start up in a full loop.

*heres where I THINK i goofed. got really confused, and accidently wiped my monterray usb drive I used originally when I got back into my comp. So I said screw it.. start over. *

Wiped the usb clean, did the same exact process I did to intall Monterrey.

But now I cant get past this screen here because my usb ports arent working. So my installer, mouse and my keyboard arent registering and I cant select anything on the above screen.

I’ve been trying to get past this point for hours. Idk what I did wrong and I have no clue how to fix both problems.

Please, if someone could help me.. you’re the GOAT. Im so distraught because both literally worked until they didnt. I have a working time machine backup, but that’s all. What do I do?

I’d like to get Monterey working first, then Kryptonite second.
