Hi everyone, I'm running macOS Ventura on a Skylake pc with an RX 560 and 16GB of RAM. Previously, I ran macOS Monterey on an ivy bridge with that same RX 560 dGPU.
Now, I made a video project and export it to compressor to export as HEVC 4K 8 bit. My old ivybridge took 2 minutes and my Skylake took 8 minutes?! I don't understand why it exports 4 times slower. My ivybridge only uses my dGPU with iGPU being disabled and my Skylake has iGPU spoofed as HD 630.
I tried using SMBIOS iMac Pro and disable my Skylake's iGPU and export that project again and it took 4 minutes. How strange!!!
Please help me fix this issue. I don't want to wait 8 minutes to export a 2 minutes video
