Upgrading from a i5 10400F to a i5 11600KF

Hello Everyone!

I have been running Ventura on my i5 10400F for a few months now and I love it. The one issue I have with running the 10th gen processor is that my motherboard doesn't support PCIe Gen 4 NVMe drives with 10th gen, only 11th. So I have been keeping an eye out for any 11th gen CPU's that I can upgrade to. I found a good deal on an 11600KF so I picked it up.

The only thing I'm a little concerned about is that there is no guide on Dortania's for 11th gen processors. I have seen other people running 11th gen processors with no issues, so my question is: do I have to change anything in my EFI? I have already bricked my Hackintosh once and I would rather not do it again haha. But from what I have read, I don't think I have to change anything? Does anyone have any experience to share about this?
