my AMD gpu is taking one hell of a time to arrive in the mail - considering how powerful my PC is i'm pretty sure that in the meanwhile i could just run a virtual machine. but it's oddly hard to find info on VM'ing MacOS. could i get some help? the DMG i have is for monterey.

i mostly just found videos about "new way" hackitoshing which seems to be some weird halfway between VM'ing and hackintoshing? and the advice seems to generally be to avoid video tutorials so i'm skeptical of the few actual VM tutorials i DID find. and obviously AI is no real help, basically saying "just install it lol" but i've tried vritualbox and it stops supporting anything beyond OSX.

also when the time comes because the GPU arrived, i would *really* appreciate if someone could give me some help doing my first hackintosh install.

the specs on the hackintosh would be:

i9-13900k

MSI z790 Pro A DDR5 Wifi

Asus RX 570 ARMOR 8gb edition (the description said 4gb but the photo was of a red card and the only red ARMOR 570 is the 8gb model) - the current GPU i have is an RTX 4070.

64GB DDR5 6000 c40

2x 1tb samsung 980 Pro (the second is being reserved for MacOS)

corsair h150i elite 360mm - i sure hope i can somehow get iCUE running via wine when i've succeeded in my install so that my fans don't get stuck on silent mode

i can't imagine any of my other components affecting anything
