I had a weirdest problem with my hackintosh and solved it in a weirdest way.

So, I bought a used pc with 9700f, gigabyte b365 hd3 motherboard, 16G of ram @2666(ram is 3200 but the board only go up to 2666 with xmp enabled). And I put in a amd 6600xt and a pcie wifi card that apple supports.

Installing took some pain and suffering, but in the end, it came out almost perfect, I got gpu acceleration and DRM, bluetooth and wifi works perfect. Except one little thing, no matter what browser I use, and ONLY when I watch twitch or any other non youtube videos in fullscreen, the computer would reboot or shutdown randomly. Youtube videos and Apple+ tv works fine in fullscreen.

I googled intensely and only find this post https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/10dbgvp/hackintosh_fullscreen_videos_freezing_and_causing/ having a similar problem. He solved it by changing out of the varible refresh rate to a static one. I don't have that, so in a desperate attempt, I change the resolution.

I don't know how resolution really works in MacOS it seems that it only affects the scaling since when I play games, the game says I have 4K while in systems settings it says I have 1080p. And I changed to 1440p because in 4K that text would be too tiny.

AND THAT fixed the problem, I have a perfect hackintosh now. Thanks for reading my little rant, and I hope it can be helpful for someone.

TLDR: hackintosh restart/shutdown randomly watching videos in Fullscreen and changing resolution/scaling fixed it.
