Hello everybody. I’m interested in building my own hackintosh. I’ve got some experience because I managed to try it on an AMD 5 5600G - RX 6650XT build but as you might have imagined, it wasn’t that stable.
So I was thinking of building one with these specs:
Intel Core i5 10400. For motherboard I am between ASRock H510M-HDV & Gigabyte H510M H (I saw that the asrock one has pci express 4 support but I’m not sure if both can also support integrated graphics in hackintosh). Ram - 16GB GSkill 3600mhz. GPU RX 6650XT. For Wi-Fi and Bluetooth I saw someone using a BCM94360CS2 MacBook Air card in an asrock motherboard. Can I buy this one and swap it with whatever card a generic wireless pci express card has?
I remember that for the RX6650XT I had to spoof it as an RX6600XT so I might sell the one I have and get the 6600XT for stability. For that reason it’s important that the Intel UHD 630 graphics work out of the box.
Please let me know if my build will be good for hackintosh. I want it for music production mostly and audio recording so stability is number one for me.
