I have a thinkpad T490, and I've created a USB that is booting into the MacOS Recovery. I was going through the Multiboot guide, and the post install guide, before I actually wrote anything to the disk. My plan is to install both MacOS and Windows to the same disk, and this is the part of the guide that's incomplete. I have already resized my EFI partition to about 400 MB. My questions are:
- I already have a 200GB blank partition on the disk. Is it better to wipe the disk, install MacOS first and then re-install windows to the other partition or is it better to keep the current install of windows and install MacOS to a different partition on the same disk? The guide says Windows can be a hassle to get working but I've read posts saying to install MacOS after windows, and some posts saying to install windows after MacOS, and I'm trying to understand the difference.
- Is there any other information needed to get Bootcamp working on this system, e.g. any pitfalls or no-nos?
