Is it safe to update to Catalina? (on OpenCore)

Hi,

I don't know about hacks much myself, my brother set my machine up running OpenCore, it is still on Big Sur currently, i've avoided upgrading because it has been incredibly reliable.

I have run a few system updates in the past, but not a whole OS upgrade.

What sort of risk am i at if i click update to Ventura?

Or is a whole new setup the way to go. And if so is OpenCore still the best option
