Switching SMBIOS for best perf in video editing ? From iMac19,1 to iMacPro/MacPro ? Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve (9700K/RX6600XT)

Hi hackintosh community,

I just updated my GPU from Vega64 (which was dead) to RX6600XT a few months ago. And I'm now wondering if switching from iMac19,1 SMBIOS to iMacPro/MacPro SMSBIOS would help with performance ? As my CPU (9700K) is getting a bit old, I was wondering if enabling quicksync is still a good option with the 6600XT ? Maybe the GPU handles that better than the CPU of that now ? I've always read everywhere that iMac smbios are better for video editing (compared to iMacPro/MacPro smbios) because of quicksync. But is still true today ?

Right now I'm using iMac 19,1 smbios on last Monterey update (9700K/RX6600XT/Z390-AORUS-ELITE/64GB) and I'm mostly using Premiere Pro. I'm also using DaVinci Resolve for grading bigger projects.

I didn't do any benchmark yet because I don't have much time to do that (I work on my hack). So I wanted to ask people here to know if someone is in the same situation as me ? If yes, what are your conclusions ?

I made a poll for people who just want to share their results quickly. Please answer only if you have quite the same hardware as me (older CPU with newer GPU). Which one of the three SMSBIOS (iMac/iMacPro/MacPro) is getting the best performance into Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve ?

Thank you for your help !
