3rd Display without motherboard ports

Recently got a hackintosh up and running on a machine with the following specs:

MB: Asus ROG Strix H370-i

CPU: i3-8100

GPU: UHD 630

RAM: 16gb 2400mhz

SSD: SN 770, 512gb

OS: Monterey, 12.5

Opencore: 0.8.2

I am attempting to connect this machine up to 3 displays, however the MB only has 2 ports, on DP and one HDMI. I've already managed to get those working right.

For the third display, I first tried a USB-C to HDMI adapter, however failed to realize that the USB-C port on this board is only USB 3.1, and doesn't support thunderbolt or displayport alternate mode.

Second, I tried an E-GPU, and ran into the same problem, no thunderbolt.

Thirdly, I tried a PCIE thunderbolt adapter I found on FB marketplace, only to realize that it requires a dedicated thunderbolt header on the MB, which mine does not have.

Finally, I tried a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter, specifically: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/insignia-usb-3-0-to-hdmi-adapter-black/15757352. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to do anything either. (it works on the same hardware booted into windows just fine).

Any ideas on how else to connect a 3rd display? Or on how to get the USB adapter working?
