Title pretty much says it. I can get Monterey elsewhere, that's not the issue, I just need to know if it'll actually install and work on my current system. I think it will, I just want to confirm if I'm understanding this correctly.
I suspect (and I hope) that this error message is erroneous and has something to do with my chosen system model in Clover.
My current model set in Clover is iMac15,1, which corresponds to mid-2015. What I found on the web is that Monterey is compatible with LATE 2015 iMacs and later (16,1).
Since I'm switching to OpenCore I'm assuming I'll be able to set a new system model ID that corresponds to a Monterey-compatible model.
Can anybody confirm my thinking on this? It's a little urgent since I just ordered a 6600XT, which is only compatible with Monterey and up.
