Not sure if this is mackintosh specific or not, but if your Apple Music is skipping tracks whenever you are connected to a bluetooth audio output:
- In apple music > preferences > playback, uncheck lossless audio and dolby atmos. (These will cause more skipping due to DRM issues.)
- Open Audio MIDI Setup, click the (+) and select create Multi Output Device.
- Name the new device as you wish, then enable your bluetooth device in the audio device list
- Select the new output in control centre or settings and Apple Music won't skip tracks anymore.
\You won't be able to use mac volume keys/ slider to control the output, you will have to use the device volume buttons.*
