I am trying to install macOS Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina and no matter what I do, Disk Utility (I've also verified with
in Terminal) does not detect any SATA drives. AHCI is enabled in the BIOS.
I followed the Dortania OpenCore Install Guide.
I tried:
- a lot of kexts (SATA-Unsupported, CtlnaAHCIPort, AHCIPortInjector)
- resetting the BIOS and configuring it properly for macOS
Booting from or installing on USB drives works. I have attached the EFI folder.
