I just upgraded my somewhat cramped 256 GB SSD with a nice and roomy 1 TB model (SK. Hynix PC711), and now a previously working Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave install won't boot.
Instead, it Kernel Panic s when it loads the NVMe driver, which suggests a problem with the new SSD, but I have confirmed that it does work, so perhaps Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave's driver is somehow incompatible with the new disk? Is there a way to either patch the existing drive so it works or install a working one from Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-catalina-on-supported-pc.html'>Catalina or newer?
I'd upgrade to...
