Thunderbolt Coldboot stopped working

I use a Dell 7391 Inspiron i7-10510U

I used a thunderbolt egpu for cold boot docking. I ran a linux live usb to try and pull acpi files for more patching when I realized my cold boot method now prevents the system from posting if my Thunderbolt device is plugged in.

The device still works if I hotplug in windows.

I've tried doing bios update, thunderbolt firmware update, and a nvram clear to no avail.

Let me know if you have any insight
