I initially installed Catalina on this machine using OC 0.5.8 a year or more ago. I now want to update to Monterey. This morning I updated my OC to 0.7.6 with updated packages and a new config.plist re-created using the guide. The config passed validation and was able to boot my existing Catalina installation and the Monterey installer which I'm trying to use to install Monterey to a second hard disk.
The problem is that after the first reboot during installation, I get through to the black screen with the apple logo and progress bar. It goes through to the end and says "less than a minute remaining" but it never completes. I've left it an hour (it just stayed stuck there) and also tried restarting (it did the same thing), and erasing/reinstalling from scratch (did the same thing again). Is there anything else I should do?
