Did the install from Settings>>Software Update in Big Sur 11.6.1. Took about 2 hours to download Monterey and 30 minutes to install and enter the desktop environment. Tested sound & bluetooth - they both work! Both my iPad & iPhone are in sync with handoff & airdrop both working. iMessage works fine. Airpods connect to my Hack normally.
Note: I originally created a bootable install macOS Monterey USB however for some reason it would not install. I would get a message indicating a corrupted installer. Tried 3x then decided on a clean install of Big Sur. I did this via the recovery icon in the OC GUI when my PC boots. I had saved my Documents folder to a USB and made sure iCloud was set to restore data to Monterey i.e., messages & photos for example. Worked great! In addition to working great the clean install also got rid of an inflated, mysterious, and annoying 160gb Other partition! Ran it this way for the last 2 weeks and finally took the plunge this morning to Monterey. Would be nice to get AppleTV to work on SMBIOS 17,1 however I can always cast from my iPad or iPhone.
