- RAM: 32GB 2400 MHz DDR4
- Motherboard/Laptop model: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-G
- Audio Codec: 200 Series PCH HD Audio
- Ethernet Card: onboard
- Wifi/BT Card: (if available) N/A
- What guide/tool followed: pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) -
i7-8700Ki9-9900K - AMD Vega 56 build - What part I got an issue with: When using the iMac19,1 SMBIOS which appears to be correct for this hardware, the clock frequency of the iGPU will not increase beyond the base clock of 350MHz, even during exports from Final Cut Pro X. The original builder of this config prefers iMacPro1,1 (since he has upgraded to a Vega 56 and doesn't use FCPX and therefore has no need for Quick Sync, but I find I need it).
- What files/config I am using: My config.plist
- Extra Info: I am having trouble wrapping my head around OpenCore in general and I would appreciate anyone having a quick look at my conflig.plist, I hope it is something quick that just doesn't cause problems if you don't use FCPX. I have been reading the OpenCore guides for more than a week and I don't see anything anywhere relating to locking the frequency of the iGPU, so I cannot use the guides to solve my problem.
