Hi, I am back with another head scratcher. I have gone through every scenario I can find in the Dortania guides (I have followed the Vanilla guide to the letter), then trial and error on the quirks to get through to recovery mode for a Monterey install. Now on the cusp of installing MacOS / I’m even at the pop-up the precedes the software writing. But since my Mac can’t connect to the internet, it stops there.
Here are my details:
Machine Name: The Beast
M0B0: ASUS ROG STRIX Z590i (ITX)
Ram: 36 X Dram-5. 4000
Chip: series 10 i7 107009
Video card: Sapphire ( 570)
One Unformatted and ONE APFS formatted. And one HFS formatted ssd disk. I have windows installed on one other SSD. OC is the boot loader. I have other hacks but this one has been a real painful but exciting challenge.

I am booting from a 32GB San disk cruiser usb, which was made following the dortania instructions. I have remade it three times in hopes it was a broken disk.
My bios has the T2 chip enabled, PTT enabled Vt-d disabled All overclocking functions disabled Above 4G enabled. 64 allocated.
I am using the iGPU for the set up.
I can send my plugs if I have a place to upload. I’ll look into that.
Anyone have experience with this?
