This is a really interesting issue.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad E14 (Gen 1) with 10th Gen i3 (10110U) and inbuilt graphics. I used this guide to set up my Hackintosh, and it works flawlessly in Big Sur. However, I detected a new problem today.
After I connect my wired headphone-microphone to the 3.5mm port, the internal microphone is disabled (and disappears from System Preferences). After unplugging it, the issue persists; even through reboots.
I would like to know any way I can force the OS to re-detect all connected audio devices, so the internal microphone starts working again?
Edit: Fixed it by resetting NVRAM.
