How to upgrade from Macos Catalina 10.15.7 to Macos Monterey as I have been unsuccessful upgrading through system preferences.

MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte Z370 Ultra Gaming rev 1.0

AUDIO CODEC: Realtek ALC 1220

ETHERNET CARD: Intel I219V2 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet

I have also been unsuccessful in upgrading to the latest version of opencore 7.5 even though I updated the config.plist and I would have to reinstall macos catalina otherwise in the opencore bootloader it displays 'macos installer' rather than my boot drive 'Macintosh HD'.
