Hey fellas, I have an issue with my HP 800 G5 DM, with i5 9600t and RX 560. I used an EFI with a similar model found on GitHub. But I can’t get any video output from the dGPU ports after boot into macOS Big Sur, although it works in open core as well as at the apple loading logo. It then goes into a black screen with back light on. I tried changing the platform id following whatevergreen’s faq but it only switches on/off with the iGPU ports. What should I do for the next step?
So I finally got my hackintosh up and running. Everything works (except sleep).
After a hour of using it, it randomly shuts down on me. This keeps happening. In the crash report I see the following:

It happens every time I boot OpenCore. First it shows me
OCS: No schema for NVRAM at 14 index, context <Quirks>!
then it boots OpenCore, then I select the recovery DMG, then it shows (after a lot) the apple logo, and then it reboots completely randomly. Why is this happening?

im just gonna say this . there are some modertors on here who like to take down guides that are accurate and are working for no reason. Im gonna say this again "It does matter what your SMBios says or is or maybe for that matter even your serial number. But since i dont know nothing then well here you go. Dell Optiplex 3060 listed as is in the system info and in the IORegistry with a dell serial number and lookie there that appears to be imessage working without problem! Cant show anyone anything helpful w/o brusing egos. Hi! I want to build a hackintosh (been doing it since 2014) but I have a problem, I have a GTX 1660 with Turing architecture which is sadly not compatible.
I also have a GTX 660 but sadly that card started glitching with macOS high Sierra (worked fine in Yosemite and Mavericks though) and it's also not compatible with Monterrey.
I was wondering what is the cheapest card which would be compatible with Monterrey and capable of outputting a 4k display and a Full HD display both 60hz at the same time (dual display).
I also consider selling both my 660 and 1660 cards to buy a new one, but the market is plagued with mining cards and I fear getting one that will fail soon after I buy it.

So I have a premade efi with opencore and I put the stable itlwm wifi kext for my wifi. My wifi worked until yesterday when I decided to change the efi with another and now my wifi doesn't work even after a reinstall. What do I need to do?
Ive pretty much followed the Dortania Guide to the letter for this system but it just refuses to do anything. Ive succeeded at a Strix GL753VD-DS71 so I know I can follow directions, but this one is a big fat goose egg. Is it even able to be 'toshed?

I'm an idiot: I set up my hackintosh awhile ago and everything's been chugging along well. So well, in fact, that I never got around to copying the flash drive over to the hard drive.
And now the flash drive has died. Completely unreadable on any system. Yeah, I'm an idiot. I knew better; this isn't even my first hackintosh!
Anyway, I'm wondering if there's an easy way to recreate the flash drive without having to reinstall (or otherwise mess with) the main SSD. I have pretty much all of the kexts I used backed up together, and other Mac systems to work off of.
Hi everyone. This is my new iMac20,2. I needed to finally replace my 2010 Mac Pro 5,1. Although it was a beast it was time to retire her. I almost jumped on the new MacBook Pro with the M1 max, but I am a heavy gamer and need to be able to dual boot windows.
It was surprisingly more challenging to install than I had anticipated it would’ve been. I had OC on the 5,1 and that was a breeze. I had followed the Dortania guide for Comet Lake to a Tee and I guess it’s not fully updated.
My issues seem to have come down to incorrect bios setting. After crying for help from fellow hackintoshers here (btw you guys are awesome) and googling for days, I stumbled across this post on tonymacx86 of a user who had similar issues. I followed their bios settings line by line plus instruction on my efi from u/enigmahack and SUCCESS!!!.
What’s not working: My sleep/wake. Screens stays off. But I may need to redo the usbmap.
BT mouse and keyboard are shaky at best.
And I get get American Megatrends safe POST. I’ve initiated the disable rtc and added the base Args but still on going. It Does this with boot camp switch but still automatically switches Mac and windows through the EFI boot picker.
What’s working: Handoff/airdrop, asus xc100c Ethernet with patch. Boot camp switch which is surprising. iServices work well.
Stable other than when switching boots.
Overall I’m excited to work this new machine for the next few years.
Hi. I bought a new PC, i use it for browsing the web, edit videos, songs and play games. Now i have windows 11 on it. Should I switch to macOS? My PC has these specs:
Intel Core i5 10300H, up to 4.5 GHz
16 gigs of RAM
Two GPUs, an Intel UHD 630 and a 1650Ti, that i know i would disable.
But the thing is, should I do it? i want to try macOS, but i know i feel better with windows, but a VM doesn't give me the experience of a real Mac. And, my wifi card isn't supported, only the Ethernet one. So, should I do this, erase my disk and install? or keep windows? remember that i have Forza horizon 5 installed on the PC and it takes 100 GB, and i have a 10mbps wifi so it could take a little to redownload.
Hello there, I don't post here much but I'm literally unable to hackintosh my Lenovo laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 110-15isk. I've tried both Clover and OpenCore, and even then I can get the macOS recovery to boot. I did get to some results with OpenCore but at the end it says "Attempting system reboot" or sometimes, and then it reboots. I've tried 3 times and checked 4 times my config.plist file each time and eventual settings in the BIOS. I have no idea what to do anymore. Can someone tell me or link me to a good guide to install macOS on this laptop?
Hi there guys)) I need help in installing my first ever desktop Hackintosh... Previously I had Big Sur on my Dell Latitude E7270... but now I've bought a used desktop with motherboard AsRock H61M-VS with Intel Core i5-3570 (Ivy Bridge), 4GB RAM, and GTX 760 2GB installed... I have only 8GB flash drive so decided to install Mojave for the start... I'm planning to upgrade to Big Sur as it still supports Kepler GPUs... I can't find any EFI setup for this motherboard. After some research in dortania's OpenCore Install and configuration guide, I've collected all necessary kexts and patches, configured fresh config.plist and etc. .. Downloaded latest Mojave installer with GibMacOs script... after booting to OpenCore boot menu and selecting MacOS Installer it shows " End SetConsoleMode" and restarts the whole system (reboot loop)... so I need you guys to help me if it is possible))) I'll attach my folder for you to analyze... Hello, I’ve been trying to Install MacOS Monterey on my PC but while installing the mouse and keyboard are not working and instead it flashes me a screen with a mouse symbol. I’ve checked my config.plist if anything is wrong but there’s no sign of the mouse and keyboard not connecting.
