Will Laptop Thunderbolt work is the Nvidia GPU isn't used?

I have a laptop workstation with a full blown 150watt RTX 5000 16GB or ram and NO Optimus.

The CPU is a 9980HK. I would like to install either Mojave, Catalina or Big Sur and use the Thunderbolt to hook up my dedicated Radeon GPU.

What are the odds that Thunderbolt or other ports not work because of the Nvidia lack of support.
