New Hackintosh - Parts Compatibility

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker, getting ready to pull trigger on Hackintosh system. Plan is to dual boot Windows 10. I have selected the following components & am looking for one last sanity check:

  • MB - Gigabyte z490 Vision G
  • CPU - Intel i-9-10850K
  • Ram - 4 x 16 GB Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz
  • GPU - SAPPHIRE Radeon 11265-05-20G Pulse RX 580 8GB GDDR5
  • Wireless - Fenvi T919
  • Case - be quiet! BGW34 Pure Base 500
  • CPU Cooler - be quiet! Shadow Rock 3
  • Storage - TBD (see below)

Overall, I am looking for two things. First - how does the gear above look? I am a first time builder so was trying to be very careful to pick parts that are known to work. I plan on following OpenCore Dortania guide when the pieces come in.

Second question is in regards to storage. I am planning on booting both Mac & Windows 10 & my motherboard has 2 NVME slots. In keeping with the theme, I'm looking for something that interacts well with a Hackintosh. I am looking at the Samsung 980 vs. Samsung 980 Pro, as well as the the Western Digital WD Black SN850 & Western Digital WD Blue SN550. Does anyone have a recommendation for one vs. the other? Since I have an older motherboard (at least compared to the z590), I wanted to check with the experts as to if any of those drives listed above are overkill & my MOBO can't handle the added speed. Any suggestions on 1 TB NVME drives I should target? I will also be purchasing 1-2 SSDs for storage/backups.

Thanks in advance! Please let me know if you see any glaring issues above & if you have any recs for NVME drives.
