Magic trackpad lost after sleep

I have an otherwise perfectly running intel based (coffeelake) Hack

  • 2019 iMac
MacOS Big Sur 11.6 (Has been this way all the way through all versions, prior to big sur I was using clover, and sleep didn't work at all)
  • BCM94360CS2 based bluetooth/wifi PCI Card
  • ASUS PRIME Z370-A motherboard
  • I7 8700K CPU
  • 16GB ram
  • NVME SSD Samsung 970 EVO
  • Internal UHD 630 Graphics
  • USB are mapped
  • Opencore Version - DBG-067-2021-03-01

Problem:

I also have a Magic Trackpad 2 which works perfectly after a boot, but will not reconnect after sleep. I can connect it via USB to lightning cable, and it will work, but even after this, if I disconnect the cable it won't re-connect wirelessly.

If I turn bluetooth off before sleep, and then turn it on after sleep, it will work.

Any ideas for fixes to try?

Thanks
