I7 4702MQ ES CPU on T440P

I am trying to get my CPU to work with opencore but no luck so far.

Booting into macOS just presents me with either a black screen or a stuck apple logo. I switch CPUs and all works okay.

I know the CPU is an ES of the I7 4702MQ so that probably has something to do with it but was wondering if there was any way around this at all.
