Hello, I'm new to this community and I've read many threads but unfortunately I haven't found an answer for my problem.
I did a fresh install of Big Sur 11.6 this weekend and it was successful, but unfortunately I have a GTX 660 that is GK 106 (not 104) and that's the reason why I can't use it because the artifacts appear after some time.
I have an R7 260x that OpenCore instructions say has been successful with some builds, so I thought I'd try my luck this time. I opened my computer case and replaced the GTX 660 with a Sapphire R7 260x, deleted NVRAM and CMOS (I read this on reddit), but it had no success.
My hackbook pro says "Graphics Display 7mb." I can forget about multiple screens right now too. It feels very laggy. It has to do with the graphic acceleration.
Setup:
Processor: I5 4190 (Haswell)
Graphics card: Sapphire R7 260x
Memory: 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2
SSD: Samsung 256 GB 850 EVO
WhateverGreen and Lilu kexts are present.
I'm using OpenCore. I'm using SMBIOS of an MacBookPro 11,5
Also with boot argument -wegoff the same thing happens.
Does anyone else have a suggestion for me how I can still possibly fix this?
Thank you very much in advance!
