Hello, posting my first Hackintosh build, which also doubles as my first tower styled real PC build. I’ve already been using it for a little while, but I wanted to share it and maybe address some minor issues that It’s facing, perhaps in a separate post, or in the comments. It’s running dual boot OS with Windows and Catalina, with an OpenCore boot picker. It has all the files transferred to it via Time Machine from my 2011 15” Macbook Pro - all of the settings, files & apps have been cloned over flawlessly, aside from some 32bit apps, which have their support dropped with Catalina. Audio, Ethernet and Graphics acceleration is working, also all of the apple iServices seem to be working as well. Haven’t tested Air Drop and such because I didn’t get a Wifi/Bluetooth expansion card, will probably get it down the line. I was following the Dortania’s OpenCore guide (currently running OpenCore ver. 0.7.2), - it took like 3-4 days, for me, with figuring everything out, configuring, copying files, backing up, retrying installs and cleaning up. After the config.plist was set up correctly, there was no hiccups and it was a smooth ride afterwards, installing and restoring from a Time Machine backup. Checking the Hackintosh forums on reddit, with similar builds as mine, helped a lot too. I think after you do your first OpenCore install the next one could be made in just a couple hours.
