It's been a long journey, but I've finally installed Monterey on my Lenovo 10th gen laptop with most issues fixed My specs : PC Model : Lenovo Ideapad 3 14IIL05 81WD00LTGJ Processor : Intel Core i3 1005G1 Ice Lake iGPU : Intel UHD G1 for Ice Lake Processors RAM : 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz Dual Channel Storage : 1x Toshiba SSD NVME 256GB Ethernet : no ethernet port present Wifi : Intel Wireless AC 9560 w/Bluetooth USB : Intel Chipset Audio Codec : Realtek ALC230 Touchpad: Synaptics SYNA001 I2C HID Screen Resolution : HD 1366 x 768 Boot Mode : UEFI Bootloader : OpenCore r0.7.3 OS Version : macOS Monterey 12 Beta 6 What's working: QE/CI of Intel UHD G1 Restart and Shutdown CPU Power Management Lenovo Custom Yoga SMC addons for battery management Wifi/Bluetooth/Location Speakers, mic and output Audio ALC230 All USB Ports App store/iMessage/Facetime/icloud Bult-in camera All special function keys Battery stats Touchpad with full gestures What doesn't work: HDMI port (Ice Lake processors are impossible to fix HDMI ports) Airdrop (Impossible to fix in Intel network cards) I'm proud of the hard job done to fix most issues I had which most where touchpad and graphic acceleration. Everything working smooth and I've no complaints. (Performance is slightly better than Macbook Air 16,2 which I didn't use as SMBIOS due to it was making the bluetooth to not work) [link] [comments] |
