Hi everyone - I used to have more time, so I'm sorry to just dump this on you for a quicker solution, but my main computer for all my work is a hackintosh I made about two years ago - all this specs are here: https://imgur.com/a/sa06S3A
Maybe just a few months ago, I noticed the thing slowing down a lot when I run parallels (in OSX as a window, Win10) or when I'm just starting up the computer, and I believe even the boot process readout when you first start up the computer and it's talking about caches and whatnot has slowed down.
I ran the activity monitor whilst stressing the system out to try to catch the CPU or memory getting bogged down, but the CPU had no spikes and the 16gb of RAM filled up a couple times, it didn't appear to be under stress according to the graph. I ordered 16gb more RAM anyway, so that's on the way.
Is there something I could do here that may be related to my OS - hardware interaction? I never did anything extra for the OS itself after installation, and I don't believe my computing habits have changed enough to warrant the slowdown.
