Which graphics card for Big Sur and UP2715K

Dear Hackintosh community,

I'm writing a message to request your advice on a part I would like to buy for an existing rig.

I had originally built a nice hackintosh with a retina screen back in 2016. The parts picked were the following:

  • DISPLAY: 27" LED DELL UP2715K (5120x2880, 350cd, 8ms, V178/H178, 2xDP)
  • GRAPHICS: GIGABYTE GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD PCIe (GeForce GTX970 4096MB, 2xDVI, HDMI, 3xDP)
  • MOTHERBOARD: ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero (Z170, ATX, LGA1151, 4xDDR4, 1xM.2, 2xSATAe, 6xSATA600, 6xUSB3)
  • PROCESSOR: INTEL Quad Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz (14nm, socket LGA1151, 6MB L3 cache)
  • MEMORY: CORSAIR DDR4 2x8GB 3200Mhz C16 (Vengeance LPX Black)
  • WIRELESS: BROADCOM Fenvi BCM94360CD (802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.0)
  • STORAGE: SAMSUNG 950 Pro SSD 256GB (M.2, 2'200MB/s read, 900MB/s write)
  • STORAGE: SAMSUNG 870 Evo SSD 250GB (2.5" SATA600, 560MB/s read, 530MB/s write)
  • STORAGE: SAMSUNG 850 Evo SSD 250GB (2.5" SATA600, 540MB/s read, 520MB/s write)

I had spent time back then getting the clover configuration just right and the best mix of kernel extensions to get everything working.

However I have been stuck on an old macOS ever since as they never released NVidia web drivers after High Sierra (macOS 10.13).

Today I would like to upgrade to macOS 11, which means getting a new graphics card to replace the old GTX970.

Given the other parts that are already in my hackintosh, and given that the screen requires a special dual display port connection (two parallel cables) to work in 5k resolution, which card should I purchase ?

I have looked here:

And seems like AMD cards are the way to go. I have identified this one as a good example that has two display ports available at the back of the card and could hopefully run the Dell screen in 5k?

AMD Radeon Pro WX WX5100

Are there any counter indications? Or things to look out for before I fork out the money?

Thanks a lot.
