Hello, I would like some help with upgrading. Currently I use a 1080ti and macos works flawlessly on it (albeit an older version). However, I am going to upgrade to a 3000 series rtx soon (most likely a 3080). Now I know the 3000 series is incompatible with mac os but my plan is to use integrated graphics on the cpu to run mac os. I only use logic x on macos so I don't need fast gpu performance, I just need everything to work. Not if this is useful information or not but I dual boot windows for gaming and macos for logic x. I use the dedicated gpu for windows and I'm hoping to use the integrated gpu on the cpu for macos, I just need to solve the monitor situation for macos.
Now, the real problem is my motherboard (gigabyte z390 aurous pro) only has 1 HDMI out and I have two monitors (1x 4k and 1x 1440p). How can I use both of my monitors with macos now as before with the 1080ti I didn't have this problem. I have researched displaylink adapters and was wondering if it could solve my problem. 1 monitor uses the integrated gpu and the other monitor uses the displaylink adapter? Thanks!
