Surface Pro X - Monterey - ARM Based

Hello all,

Last week I bought a Surface Pro X. As a MacOS junkie, the Microsoft Products are completely foreign to me, however the Surface Duo and Surface Pro X are both pieces of hardware that I think could easily begin to rival MacOS.

Currently, I've installed Windows 11 and truthfully to me it still just feels like Windows. I suppose this is to be expected. After thinking about things for a few minutes, I realized that this tablet/laptop is running an ARM based processor which means theoretically it could run MacOS Monterey.

If the hackintosh community had a motivation, I assume the Surface Pro X could legitimately be a touchscreen based MacOS product for dreamers to begin to experience what it would be like to have a touchscreen Mac, and not some blend of iOS/iPadOS/MacOS.

With all of that being said, I found a post:(https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/fx2mv8/surface_pro_x/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) and someone immediately addressed that MacOS cannot run on an ARM based chip - however Monterey DOES run on an ARM based chip.

Does this mean that it is possible, and what are the current limitations as of this moment?

If this is possible, is someone working on this project?

I would LOVE to collaborate with someone to try to make this happen!
