Matthew Pierson nonce-setter & ipwndfu not working on my Hackintosh

I have an AMD Ryzentosh build via OpenCore bootloader (Catalina 10.15.7) and an iPhone X. Every time I try to run ipwndfu -p or checkm8 nonce setter I keep getting these errors...

ERROR: No Apple device in DFU Mode 0x1227 detected after 5.00 second timeout. Exiting

or

Exploit failed. Device did not enter pwned dfu mode

I can't find any solution for this anywhere. Anyone know how to fix this? The Checkra1n jailbreak itself runs perfectly fine so it can't be an issue with my setup/hardware?
