Hey All. It seems like 9 times out of ten that I try to install windows on a hackintosh I get this error. Does anyone have a fix?
I’m booting from a windows USB key I made using windows media creation tool. Hackintosh specs are below:
Big Sur
3900x/5700xt/msi b450i gaming plus/16gb ram
Big Sur is on 1TB nvme. Mac data is on 6tb HDD. Installing windows to a dedicated 500gb ssd. Using windows installed to format the 500gb ssd. I’m booting OC 0.7.2 from another usb drive. I remove that drive to boot the windows installed in case windows borks my EFI. But there are also bootable efi copies on the nvme and 6tb hdd.
Whats worked in the past on different hacks? Remove the NVME and all other drives. This has a 50/50 chance of working usually but I can’t on this hack because the nvme is under the motherboard.
If anyone has any articles or tips… I’m all ears. Thank you.
