Hi, I am trying to use dGPU and iGPU for 2 monitors, each of the monitor connect to the dGPU and iGPU respectively. The reason I do it that way is to circumvent the AMD memory clock issues. Fyi, AMD / Nvidia has a long standing issue where if there are two monitors connected to the GPU, the memory clock will run at the max speed and it draws more power even when it is in idle mode. By doing splitting the monitor connection to dGPU and iGPU, the issue is not longer happens and the dGPU runs nice and cool.
The above mentioned setup works flawlessly in Windows 11. However, I am trying to have the same setup with the hackintosh, so far I have no luck.
I am able to get to the stage where two monitors show up and I am able to drag the some app between the monitor, however, as soon as I click on the certain app, such as Chrome/Brave, kernel panic happens and whole system freezes, and force restart is required.
Have any of you tried what I try to achieve? Did you get any success (or will it ever success with hackintosh)?
Thanks mate.
