A SFF machine with 2xDisplayPort + sleep for Mojave? Dell 7040 / 7050 | HP 800 G2 | Lenovo Tiny M900?

Hey all,

Is anyone aware of a 6th-generation i3/i5 or better Small Form Factor machine that can successfully drive 2xDisplayPort outputs (4K60 each) and has working sleep and run Mojave? WiFi can be ignored.

Due to a recent liquid mishap my 2018 Mac Mini is out of commission and I need a suitable replacement ; I have a few apps stuck on Mojave so M1 mini is out.

I've tried to do research by searching here and on TonyMac.

• It seems like the Tiny M900 has working sleep but unsure of dual-DP
• HP 800G2 has the dual-DP (hardware) but seems like there are RTC or sleep issues, unknown driving dual displays
• Dell 7040 it seems like dual-DP in some configurations but dual-display sounded hit or miss (DP+HDMI), sleep problematic
• I found a success story for a Dell 7050 on github with working sleep but untested dual-DP
