Hi all,
I have an excellent almost fully-functioning (except HDMI and DRM) i9 10900 hackintosh on a MSI Z490i Unify. Also, I'm running two external monitors using the onboard DisplayPort and another via the Thunderbolt connection and am really happy with it. As icing on the cake there is also a Sapphire RX 570 that performs excellently although can be a bit glitchy when attempting to run a third external monitor so I tend to leave it unplugged now and use the iGPU.
However, I need to upgrade to Big Sur for work and I've seen on OpenCore's sites there are some show-stopper limitations - especially on the latest version. By contrast however, I see a lot of really positive reports of well-functioning Big Sur systems in this subreddit.
So, apart from needing careful USB port allocations how are we now with Big Sur currently? Does it still have major limitations or is OpenCore's site out of date?
Thanks!
