There is a working BS. OpenCore 0.7.0. I had Catalina for 2 years before that. Decided to go back to Catalina (my BS is a bit slow). Made flash drive with recovers. Took out catalina's EFI from EFI archives. No way! It froze on startup! Same hardware. Did not change anything. Freeze right before creating ram disks (if recovery) or after creating them (if from image). BS boots and installs without any problems. Tried efi from BS - same thing.
