Hey guys, I seem to be experiencing strange USB issues running Open Core. All ports work but seem to be limited to 480MB/s. Also all USB devices connected to a USB 3.0 Hub are not recognised under MacOS at all (they show up on Windows). On the other hand, devices connected to my Monitor Hub (connected via USB-C) do show up. USB 3 devices such as my 5GB/s USB stick or my USB-C SSD Drives don't show up at all, even connected directly. They do work on my MacBook Pro. I have upgraded to Open Core 0.7.0 and am running MacOS 11.4. I have the Asus-ROG-STRIX-Z490I motherboard with Intel Z490 chipset. Here is a screenshot of the System Information USB: The Monitor USB-C Hub shows up (but only as 480MB/s) I do believe that all of this worked in the past but I guess somewhere alongside the MacOS upgrades something broke... I never mapped my own USB ports but used the USB mapping from this user. You can see his USB mapping under USB. This is the USBPorts.kext I'm using from him. After discovering that my USB ports don't seem to function correctly I set out to create my own USB port mapping using this guide. I used both the USBInjectAll.kext he mentions in his post as well as the USBPorts-All.kext from the user I'm referencing above. I also set XhciPortLimit Boolean to TRUE. However, when I open Hackintool it does not show me any USB ports at all: Hackintool Doesn't Show Any USB Ports I'm at a complete loss at this point. My USB ports seem to work but they seem to have an issue with USB 3 devices. I would be grateful for any advise. If you need more information please let me know and I will post it!
