Hello everyone, I just managed to install Big Sur via OpenCore on my Thinkpad t490s with an i7 8665u whiskey lake processor but I had no luck in getting decent graphic performances. I referred both:
- https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md
but I've got no luck so far. I've set the video memory to the max (512mb) in my bios an used the suggested (see the links before) ig-platform-id and device-id. As far as I can tell for my cpu I should use 00009B3E as the ig-platform-id (1st link) and A53E0000 as the device-id (2nd link) but with this config I can't boot (get hid legacy shim 2). I only manage to boot with 16590000 as the device-id. Any suggestion on what I am doing wrong? Do I need to use hackintool to patch and in case what parameters should I use? Thanks in advance
