I've edited a file to change the name of the \"MacBookPro\" to \"Lenovo G40-70\".
Specs:-
- CPU: Intel i5 4210U
- GPU: Intel HD 4400/AMD R5 M230(Disabled)
- RAM: Samsung 4GB 1600MHz DDR3
- Laptop Model: Lenovo G40-70 (20369)
- Audio Codec: Conexant CX20751
- Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168GU/8111GU PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet
- Wifi/BT: TP-Link TL-WN823N(USB)/TP-Link UB400(USB)
- Touchpad/Touch display: Synaptics PS/2 Trackpad/Null
- BIOS Revision: Insyde H20 (I don't remember what it is exactly)
- Guides Used: Dortania Guide
What's Working/Detected:-
- Sleep/Hibernate,
- iMessage/FaceTime,
- Bluetooth/Wifi,
- Hardware Acceleration (iGPU),
- Everything except, (see what's not working),
- Battery,
- Backlight/Brightness Control,
- Sound(Even the Headphone Jack),
- Boot-chime, etc...
What's not working:-
- DRM(Lack of dGPU)
- Handoff/Airdrop, etc (Wifi cards blacklisted in BIOS)
- Trackpad Buttons
- Lid Sleep/Wake
- Brightness Keys (Looking to fixing it as it isn't as hard)
For those who are wondering, how did I change the name of it(Name of Mac in About this Mac), here's a link explaining how to do it
