Successful build - Lenovo G40-70

I've edited a file to change the name of the \"MacBookPro\" to \"Lenovo G40-70\".

Specs:-

  • CPU: Intel i5 4210U
  • GPU: Intel HD 4400/AMD R5 M230(Disabled)
  • RAM: Samsung 4GB 1600MHz DDR3
  • Laptop Model: Lenovo G40-70 (20369)
  • Audio Codec: Conexant CX20751
  • Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168GU/8111GU PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet
  • Wifi/BT: TP-Link TL-WN823N(USB)/TP-Link UB400(USB)
  • Touchpad/Touch display: Synaptics PS/2 Trackpad/Null
  • BIOS Revision: Insyde H20 (I don't remember what it is exactly)
  • Guides Used: Dortania Guide

What's Working/Detected:-

  1. Sleep/Hibernate,
  2. iMessage/FaceTime,
  3. Bluetooth/Wifi,
  4. Hardware Acceleration (iGPU),
  5. Everything except, (see what's not working),
  6. Battery,
  7. Backlight/Brightness Control,
  8. Sound(Even the Headphone Jack),
  9. Boot-chime, etc...

What's not working:-

  1. DRM(Lack of dGPU)
  2. Handoff/Airdrop, etc (Wifi cards blacklisted in BIOS)
  3. Trackpad Buttons
  4. Lid Sleep/Wake
  5. Brightness Keys (Looking to fixing it as it isn't as hard)

For those who are wondering, how did I change the name of it(Name of Mac in About this Mac), here's a link explaining how to do it
